My Story
Hello Everyone! My name is Karen. I have loved Scentsy since I got my first warmer and a bar of Coconut Lemongrass as a birthday gift in 2012 and since then I have been HOOKED. I didn't have one consultant I shopped around until I found a friend from WW who started selling Scentsy and I only shopped with her.
Before joining Scentsy I was part of another direct sells business where I sold products as a hobby, which means I sold the products once in awhile and did it just to stay active and it worked for me just to make some extra money on the side. I stopped selling that product in mid 2015 because I knew that business wasn't for me anymore and I had just met my Scentsy Consultant friend.
My life changed, for the better when my boyfriend asked me to marry him in January 2016. I had to think of where I was going to make extra money to save for a wedding and a house. So my Scentsy Consultant friend would post on Facebook about starting your own Scentsy business for $99 and mention to me EVERY time I placed an order if I wanted to join. Every time I saw a post or we when we would talk, ALL these questions POPPED into my head "Can I actually sell another direct sells business when my first one didn't do so well? Would I be able to make enough money to save for a house and A WEDDING? Would my fiancé support me? Would he help me with my business? Would I make enough sales to stay active? Would any of my friends buy Scentsy?" etc... After thinking long and hard, talking to my friend some more, and of course talking it all over with my fiancé I signed up February 29, 2016.
Since I have signed up, I have had support from my friend and sponsor to keep me motivated. I have full support and help from my now husband who works this business with me every day. I have made sales every month since I have started without even trying hard and it has helped me with extra expenses that come up. Scentsy sells its self because we are more than just waxes and warmers and there is SOMETHING for everyone!! I have even been promoted to Star Consultant and have a small team that I help coach and motivate.
I took that leap of faith on myself for $99 and I cannot wait to see what this side business can continue to do. So far I have made great friendships, get all the Scentsy we need for our addiction (I have at least 2 warmers in EACH ROOM), and the possibilities are endless with making money and travel (yes you can even earn free trips with Scentsy!!!). If you have ever thought about taking a chance and starting something new, Scentsy is the way to go and I would love you help you along the way with support, encouragement, and friendship!!!!!
